Brilliant Shepparton launch event - rolling out more than red carpets for the Award . delicious reds, vibrant yellow ribbons, artistic dancing, and precious music played

We’ve started to roll out the red carpet for the 13 brilliant pianists who are on their way to Shepparton to perform in September.

On Tuesday August 19 guests we invited 200 guests, sponsors and partners to attend the cocktail launch party.  20 year old pianist, Thomas Hill performed  Beethoven: 6 Variations on an Original Theme in F majorand Debussy: L'isle joyeuse and Olivia Steen and her fellow ballerinas from Daphne Learoyd School of Dance danced to the tunes of Tchaikovsky at the Eastbank centre. 

 A formal signing of the partnership between the Australian National Piano Award and the Greater Shepparton City Council will also a highlight – between Darryl Coote, President of the Award and the Mayor of Shepparton, Cr Jenny Houlihan.
