We sat in the auditorium, waiting patiently for the adjudicators verdict as to who would be going forward and play in tomorrow's Grand Finals.

Semi-finalists from Melbourne, Brisbane and Tasmania will perform all afternoon. Recorded by Classic FM and more importantly listened to by our judges and audience.

Tonight the final three pianists (the women) will be performing for the first time.

Greeted by the adjudicators, committee, board members and the Mayor Counsellor, Jenny Houlihan - thirteen musicians got to meet each other. We drew the ballot order of performance and it all starts tomorrow. Welcome everyone
