There are substantial prizes for the pianists - who are competing in this national competition. $68,000 in cash and prizes to be exact. Donated by incredibly generous sponsors and they are worth recognising.

Today marks the Semi-Finals at the Eastbank Centre for the Australian National Piano Award. Starting at Midday and running through to 4pm. Here is what the five sensations will be performing (listed in the order of their appearance)

Fabulously contested - the five fearless and talented pianists will battle it out in the afternoon at the Eastbank Centre, Shepparton, for the SEMI-FINALS of Australian National Piano Award.
